PRT’s therapeutic recreation programs focus on providing meaningful experiences through leisure activities for children and adults who are disabled. Some participants may learn recreational skills to enjoy their free time and gain personal satisfaction. Others participate in programs that take into consideration their particular handicap. Some may seek avenues for self-expression. Others enjoy the challenge of learning a new sport and the satisfaction it brings. With the many programs offered by PRT’s therapeutic division, these varied desires can be fulfilled. Boyd Hill Recreation Center is the home of PRT’s therapeutic programs.
