About Extreme Camps
Extreme Adventure Camps are available for Kids (ages 9 – 12) and Teens (ages 13 – 17). These co-ed camps are held in the summer and are usually 3 or 4 days long with some sessions including an overnight camp experience. Activities vary per session and can include rock climbing, kayaking, mountain biking, white water rafting, hiking, orienteering and camping. Locations vary depending on the day’s activities. Dates for the summer Extreme Adventure Camps are typically posted in January or February of each year.
Extreme Adventure experiences can also be customized for the needs of your youth group. Activities can include day hikes, backpacking, rock climbing, canoeing, kayaking, white water rafting, challenge courses and cycling.
Many of the activities offered can be catalysts to increased self-confidence and sound judgment. Participants are encouraged to overcome challenges by supporting each other in a noncompetitive environment.
