About the Rock Hill Tennis Center:
The Rock Hill Tennis Center provides a top notch facility for local tennis enthusiasts and tournament play. Located next to Sullivan Middle School, the facility opened in 2005 and was the result of a joint effort between the City of Rock Hill and Rock Hill School District Three.  The Center provides nine lighted, regulation hard courts along with other amenities. 

The Rock Hill Tennis Center is a member organization of the United States Tennis Association (USTA) and works closely with USTA in offering sanctioned tournaments, leagues and other USTA sponsored programs.  For tournament play, the Tennis Center partners with Winthrop University and the school district to offer additional courts along with the city’s public courts.

There is a fee for the use of the courts at the Rock Hill Tennis Center.  Individuals and families can join as Members; those who use the courts infrequently may prefer to pay Non-Member Fees on a per use basis.  Additional Courts at other park locations are available at no charge.  

Video or photography at the park for commercial or political purposes requires special arrangements.  Call John Taylor at 803/329-8773 to discuss your video/ photography project.

Membership:
Annual members of the Rock Hill Tennis Center receive the following benefits:
     Priority court usage
     No court rental fees
     Discounts on lessons & clinics
     Free ball machine rental
     10% discount in future pro shop
     No court fees for USTA league play
     Free social events for youth & adults
     Monthly e-newsletter
     Members-only tournament

Annual Member Fees:
      $300 Family
      $150 Adult Individual
      $ 75 Youth Individual (18 & Under)
      $100 Senior Individual (62 & Over)
      $200 Senior Family

Membership applications with payment are taken at the Tennis Center.

Non-Members
Those who use the Tennis Center courts infrequently pay the following Non-Member Fees.  Non-members wishing to reserve a court must call the Tennis Center 24 hours in advance for court availability.  Additional Courts are available at other locations at no charge.

Non-Member Fees:
      (per 1 ½ hours of court time)
      Singles Play - $4 per person
      Doubles Play - $3 per person
      Youth Singles Play - $2 per person
      Youth Doubles Play - $1.50 per person

Summer Season – June, July & August
 7:30 am – 10 pm Mon. – Thurs.
 7:30 am – 9 pm Fri. & Sat.
 1 pm – 9 pm Sun.

Peak Season – February through May, September & October
 9 am – 10 pm Mon. – Thurs.
 9 am – 9 pm Fri. & Sat.
 1 pm – 9 pm Sun.

Non Peak Season – November, December & January
 9 am – 9 pm Mon. – Sat.
 1 pm – 8 pm Sun.


Court Reservation Process:
Members have priority court usage and may reserve courts two days in advance.  All other persons wishing to reserve courts must call 24 hours in advance for court availability.  Any unscheduled courts for a given day will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.


Private & Group Lessons:
Contact the Tennis Center to schedule private and group private lessons.  The following fees apply:

Private Lessons:
     (price per person for Members)
     Director:  $48 (1 hour); $34 (1/2 hour)
     Head Professional:  $45 (1 hour); $30 (1/2 hour)
     Tennis Professional:  $40 (1 hour); $25 (1/2 hour)
          Non-members add $5 to above prices.

Group Private Lessons:
     (price per person for Members)
     $30 – 2 in group
     $25 – 3 in group
     $20 – 4 or more
          Non-members add $5 to the above prices.
